Misr Italia Properties showcased the latest construction progress at its Solare Ras El Hekma development during a media tour, while announcing the launch of Amare Seafront Villas, a new residential district within the coastal destination.
The visit was led by Mohamed El Assal and Karim El Assal, Co-CEOs and Managing Directors of Misr Italia Properties, alongside senior management and project partners. Representatives from planning, design, engineering, and construction firms also attended.
The company said the launch of Amare coincides with advanced construction progress across the project. According to Misr Italia, 90% of concrete works for cabanas, 80% for villas, and 70% of land grading works have been completed. Located at km 199 on Egypt’s North Coast, Solare extends over 400 feddans in Ras El Hekma.
Amare Seafront Villas will account for more than 25% of Solare’s total area, occupying a 120-feddan waterfront zone. The district includes beachfront villas and cabanas located approximately 200 metres from the shoreline.
The villas are arranged across seven terraced levels and nine rows, reaching elevations of up to 25 metres above sea level—a layout designed to provide uninterrupted sea views for all units.
The district will also include hospitality components, featuring branded beachfront cabanas and an Autograph Collection hotel, part of Marriott International’s luxury portfolio.
Construction Advancing Across Earlier Phases
Misr Italia also provided updates on previously launched phases, including Lumera and Cielo.
The developer said it awarded a contract worth approximately EGP 590m to El Safa Contracting for structural and building works in the Lumera phase, covering 32 buildings comprising 335 units.
In addition, a consortium of Arabtec and Al Ammar was awarded a contract valued at around EGP 261m to execute structural works and external finishes for the Cielo phase, as well as construction of Solare’s main entrance. Together, the two phases comprise 590 units, including 510 in Lumera and 80 in Cielo.
Delivery Targeted Within Two Years
Mohamed Khaled El Assal said Ras El Hekma is undergoing rapid development, adding that Solare is intended to become an integrated year-round destination rather than a seasonal resort.
He noted that the launch of Amare reflects a stage already under construction, with land grading works and the development of seven terraces completed, while structural works are progressing for 420 villas and 270 cabanas. He added that the company is targeting delivery of the phase within two years.
Karim El Assal said Amare is designed as an integrated district combining residential, hospitality, and lifestyle components. He added that the inclusion of Autograph Collection branded hospitality facilities forms part of Misr Italia’s broader strategy to expand its presence in the hospitality sector through mixed-use destinations.
Solare Ras El Hekma spans over 400 feddans and features a 3-kilometre waterfront, including a 1-kilometre sandy beach with a depth of up to 200 metres. The masterplan incorporates seven elevated terraces rising to approximately 36 metres above sea level, as well as 100,000 sqm of swimmable lagoons.
According to the developer, around 80% of the project’s units will enjoy water views, while the masterplan includes 16 lifestyle zones designed to support year-round residential and tourism activities.
