Regent Signature Developments has officially launched The Vie West Cairo, a 40-feddan residential and hospitality development in West Cairo, with residential investments exceeding EGP 15bn and hospitality investments of more than EGP 2bn.
The project is designed around an integrated residential model combining housing, hospitality, health and wellbeing, green spaces, water features, and cultural facilities.
Green spaces and water features account for 84% of the project’s total area, while buildings occupy the remaining 16%. The development is located at an elevation of up to 180 metres above sea level.
According to the company, residential sales are expected to exceed EGP 25bn, while the project has already generated around EGP 400m in sales ahead of its official launch.
Regent Signature Developments said the project has a fully settled land position, an approved masterplan and infrastructure framework, and all required government approvals and a ministerial decree.
Around 30% of the project’s assets are already in place, including two hotels, a lagoon, and core infrastructure, according to the company.
The Vie West Cairo is being developed around three main concepts: a serviced hospitality community, an integrated health and wellbeing community, and a dual-lagoon destination.
The project includes a 26,000-square-metre natural lagoon designed for nature-based and water activities, as well as a 4,000-square-metre swimmable lagoon with recreational and relaxation facilities.
Its residential offerings include lagoon-front villas, studios, one-, two-, and three-bedroom serviced apartments, standalone villas, townhouses, and G+2 family homes. The project offers 12 unit types, with some products designed to generate hotel rental income.
The development also includes a clubhouse, indoor and outdoor gyms, multi-purpose sports courts, community spaces, and a 3.2-kilometre track.
Regent Signature Developments is working with hospitality and wellness partners on the project. Pure Gray is involved in the health, wellness, and spa concept, while Healing Arts is providing consultancy on programmes covering movement, recovery, mindfulness, nutrition, and physical and emotional wellbeing.
Mohab El Tabei, Founder and CEO of Regent Signature Developments, said The Vie West Cairo is located around five minutes from Mall of Egypt, 15 minutes from the Giza Pyramids, and 20 minutes from the Grand Egyptian Museum and Sphinx International Airport.
El Tabei added that the project forms part of the company’s broader expansion strategy in West Cairo. Regent Signature Developments owns three additional land plots in the area that are planned for future projects.
The launch comes as Egypt seeks to expand its tourism and hospitality capacity, with the country targeting 30 million annual tourists and around 300,000 hotel rooms by 2030.
El Tabei noted that The Vie West Cairo is intended to combine residential and hospitality components within this broader market context.
The development is being marketed under the company’s “Live Well, Live Artfully” philosophy, which focuses on integrating residential living with hospitality, health and wellbeing, nature, and culture.
