Tatweer for Technology and Education is expanding its focus on integrated education technology platforms and in-house artificial intelligence capabilities as it seeks to broaden its presence in Egypt and regional markets.
Speaking at a press conference, company executives outlined Tatweer’s approach to combining learning management, administrative systems, digital content and data analytics within a single platform for schools and training institutions.
The company, which has operated in software development for more than 15 years, said its strategy differs from traditional Learning Management Systems (LMS) by integrating academic and administrative functions while allowing institutions to customize the platform according to their operational requirements.
Sohair Awad, Managing Director of Tatweer for Technology and Education, said changes in the labour market and the growing role of technology are increasing the need for education and training systems that help students and graduates develop relevant skills.
Tatweer’s platform includes learning management tools, administrative functions, dashboards, reporting systems and digital content. The company also develops interactive content using animation, motion graphics and 3D technologies, with applications in areas such as vocational and technical education.
Artificial intelligence is becoming an increasingly important part of the company’s technology strategy. Tatweer is integrating AI tools into its systems to enable users to access and analyse data through natural-language queries and generate reports to support administrative decision-making.
The company is also investing in research and development related to in-house AI capabilities, with the aim of gradually developing locally managed AI services alongside the use of existing global technologies.
Mostafa Hazem, Chief Technology Officer for Software Development at Tatweer, said the company is focusing on stability, performance, security and scalability in developing its systems, particularly as education platforms handle large volumes of institutional and student data.
Tatweer is also looking to expand the use of its platform across a broader range of educational institutions, including government schools, and has expressed interest in conducting pilot projects.
The company currently has operations outside Egypt, including in Saudi Arabia, and is seeking to expand its presence in education technology, digital learning and workforce training.
