Eliwah Group Development has formed a consortium with a group of Egyptian companies specialising in engineering, medical management, digital transformation, and commercial consultancy to develop and operate two medical projects with planned investments exceeding EGP 2bn.
The partnership covers the company’s 9MC project in the New Administrative Capital and EMC in New Cairo, both of which are planned as integrated medical developments that incorporate advanced digital technologies into their design, construction, and operations.
The consortium includes ECB Engineering Consultants, OY Studio, Operator, Tashawer Management Consultants, Healthy Care, VOOM, and ONE WAY, alongside technology partners and medical insurance companies.
According to the company, the projects are designed to combine specialised architectural design, professional medical management, operational services, and advanced digital technologies, including artificial intelligence and digital twin applications, to improve operational efficiency and enhance healthcare delivery.
The partnership was announced during a press conference attended by investors, industry executives, and representatives from Egypt’s real estate and healthcare sectors.
Mohamed Eliwah, Chairperson of Eliwah Group Development, said the company believes the success of medical developments depends on bringing together partners with specialised expertise spanning engineering, healthcare management, operations, and technology.
Chief Executive Officer Sayed Eliwah said the company’s expansion into the medical real estate sector follows market studies indicating growing demand for healthcare facilities across Egypt’s new urban communities. He added that the New Administrative Capital and New Cairo were selected based on market assessments identifying both cities as key destinations for healthcare investment.
According to the company, the developments will offer fully finished and equipped medical units supported by integrated management, operation, and marketing services. They will also incorporate digital twin technology and artificial intelligence to optimise facility management, improve operational performance, and enhance the patient experience.
Mirna Adel, Chief Commercial Officer at Eliwah Group Development, said the projects were developed under an integrated commercial strategy that combines prime locations, specialised design, professional management, and smart operational systems.
Representatives of the participating companies said their roles will span engineering design, architectural planning, medical operations, governance, digital transformation, and commercial strategy, with the aim of delivering healthcare facilities that meet international standards for design, operation, and patient care.
