Amarina Group has launched Amarina Real Estate, its property development arm, with plans to invest more than EGP 10bn in five projects across the Red Sea governorate and New Administrative Capital.
The move marks the group’s entry into the real estate development sector as it seeks to diversify beyond its core hospitality and tourism businesses. Amarina Group owns and operates a portfolio of hotels, tourism facilities, and hospitality companies.
According to the company, its initial investment pipeline includes three projects in Hurghada, one in Marsa Alam, and another in the New Administrative Capital. All developments will be managed under a hotel-operated model through one of Amarina Group’s hospitality subsidiaries.
The company plans to launch its first two projects during the third quarter of 2026, followed by two additional developments by the end of the year. The New Administrative Capital project is scheduled to be launched in 2027.
Amarina Real Estate is expected to officially unveil its business strategy at a launch event later this year, which will also feature a seminar on tourism real estate and explore the latest trends shaping the sector.
Ehab Shoukry, Chairperson of Amarina Group, said the company’s expansion into real estate builds on its longstanding experience in the hospitality and tourism sectors, with a focus on projects that integrate professionally managed hospitality services.
He added that Amarina Real Estate aims to meet growing demand for tourism-oriented and residential developments while leveraging the group’s operational expertise to enhance long-term asset management, operational efficiency, and property values.
