Reflect Developments has announced a partnership with EGYMAP, a company specialising in retail leasing and brand placement, to support the commercial leasing strategy for its Infinity Mall and SELEKT Mall projects in Obour City, east Cairo.
Mohamed Shehab, Chairperson of Reflect Developments, said the company aims to develop commercial projects that combine real estate development with long-term operational planning.
He noted that attracting suitable retail tenants is an important component of enhancing occupancy rates and supporting the overall performance of commercial developments.
Shehab added that Reflect Developments focuses on selecting partners and tenants that align with the nature of its projects and the needs of its target customers.
Ehab Mady, Co-Founder and CEO of Reflect Developments, said the partnership is part of the company’s strategy to support the operational readiness of its commercial assets.
He noted that Obour City has witnessed population growth and increasing demand for retail and service offerings in recent years, creating opportunities for commercial expansion.
Mady added that the founders of Reflect Developments have been active in the Obour City market since 2005, providing the company with extensive experience in the area’s commercial sector and consumer trends.
For his part, Ramadan Saber, Chairperson of EGYMAP, said the company has focused on establishing a tenant mix that serves different customer segments and supports the operational requirements of both projects.
According to Saber, EGYMAP has secured agreements with several brands for Infinity Mall and SELEKT Mall, including Second Cup, 929, Ward Beirut, Pizza Station, Taghamees, and Espresso Lab. He added that discussions are ongoing with additional brands and operators.
Similarly, Mohamed Nassar, Chief Commercial Officer at Reflect Developments, said that attracting retail, food and beverage, and entertainment operators has been a key objective in the commercial planning of both developments. He added that the company is currently in negotiations with several brands and expects to announce further agreements in the coming period.
Meanwhile, Eyad Riyad, Chief Marketing Officer at Reflect Developments, said the company has completed eight projects over the past three years and is preparing to launch a ninth project. He noted that Infinity Mall is expected to begin operations this year.
Riyad added that tenant selection has been based on market studies assessing local demand and consumer preferences to support the operational performance of both developments following their opening.
