Talaat Moustafa Group (TMG) has launched a new payment plan for its SouthMed project on Egypt’s North Coast, offering a limited number of fully finished chalets with a 1.5% down payment and an instalment period of up to 15 years.
The announcement coincides with a new marketing campaign featuring singers Cheb Khaled and Jana Diab. The promotional track is performed in Arabic, English, and French, which the developer stated is aimed at targeting its client base of more than 65 nationalities.

The SouthMed development covers an area of 23 million square metres and entails investments approaching EGP 1 trillion. TMG projects the development will generate around EGP 1.6 trillion ($35bn) in sales.
According to the project specifications, SouthMed will include over 60,000 residential units distributed across 20 gated communities, alongside 115 kilometres of beaches integrated with a network of artificial swimming lagoons. The site plan also features the “MED Marina,” designed to accommodate approximately 400 yachts, a 2.5-kilometre commercial promenade, a theme park, internationally managed hotels, and a golf course.
TMG also released video footage detailing the current construction progress on the project’s first phase. The footage showed concurrent infrastructure work across multiple sites, including road networks, utilities, residential units, the marina, and the primary beach area. The developer indicated that the current deployment of equipment and personnel is intended to maintain high completion rates in accordance with established delivery schedules, supporting plans to operate the destination year-round.
