Rayz Developments, the real estate arm of AlShams for Contracting and Engineering Works, has officially entered Egypt’s real estate market with the launch of its first mixed-use project, BRX, in New Cairo. The development reflects the company’s strategy to create integrated commercial and administrative destinations that combine visibility, accessibility, and modern infrastructure.

Strategically located on Mohamed Naguib Axis, BRX spans 36,483 sqm with a 390-meter frontage, ensuring strong exposure. The project comprises nine buildings dedicated to commercial and administrative use, supported by a parking facility with capacity for around 800 cars. Designed to serve businesses, entrepreneurs, and investors, BRX offers flexible and efficient workspace solutions tailored to the needs of SMEs and startups.

The launch event also marked the signing of a strategic partnership between Rayz Developments and e& Egypt to deliver advanced digital infrastructure. The agreement includes a Triple Play package; high-speed internet, landline services, and IPTV, alongside a fiber-optic network, ensuring reliable connectivity and enabling smart business environments within BRX.

Established in 2025, Rayz Developments builds on the engineering legacy of Al Shams, founded in 1987, with decades of experience across education, healthcare, infrastructure, residential, and commercial projects. Leveraging this expertise, the company is transitioning into real estate development with a focus on quality execution and efficient space utilization.

Commenting on the launch, Shams El-Din Youssef, Chairperson of Rayz Developments, described BRX as the company’s first step in a broader expansion strategy, emphasizing its commitment to delivering value-driven projects backed by decades of engineering know-how. From a commercial perspective, Mohamed Moqpel, Head of the Commercial Sector, highlighted that BRX is designed to meet the needs of SMEs, investors, and startups by combining location advantages with functional flexibility.
