Moscow and Klin will host the X International Tchaikovsky Festival of Arts from June 21st to 30th, featuring renowned Russian and international musicians at the Iyun’skoe sozvuchie (June Consonance) concert.

The concert, scheduled for June 27th, will showcase laureates of major international competitions, including South Korean pianist Suah Ye, mezzo-soprano Maria Barakova, and violist Zhang Kailin. The programme will include works by composers such as Rachmaninoff, Saint-Saens, and Tchaikovsky, TV BRICS reported.

Anastasia Ushakova, chair of the youth section of the Association of Laureates of the International Tchaikovsky Competition, expressed her enthusiasm for the event, stating, “We are happy to see that foreigners appreciate Russian culture and understand the significance of Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s music, treat it with delight and awe.”

The concert is made possible by the concurrent IV International Tchaikovsky Youth Festival, according to Ushakova.

The X International Tchaikovsky Festival of Arts will feature over 30 musicians from eight countries – China, Italy, Japan, Mongolia, Russia, South Korea, the USA, and Venezuela – in a series of nine concerts.
