E-commerce has become a popular field in light of the proliferation of delivery applications, which have increased in importance significantly since the Coronavirus pandemic, and the spread of delivery services through smart phone applications in the Egyptian market coincided with the emergence of new behaviour for consumers inside Egypt in light of a remarkable development in the quality of services provided by the widespread delivery companies during the recent period.

In 2023, Mrsool, one of the largest delivery platform in the region, published a report showing the extent to which the Egyptian users rely on technology, especially in some emergency circumstances, some of which we look at in the following lines:

1- A wedding dress

Mrsool received an order to deliver a (wedding dress) to a bride in Cairo, and the applicant stated that he had forgotten to deliver his bride’s wedding dress in light of the lack of time, which prompted him to rely on Mrsool o deliver it on the specified date on the wedding day, and indeed the order was delivered very carefully on the part Delivery representative.

2- Passport

The majority of travellers suffer from a state of sudden confusion hours before traveling, but it is strange that a traveler arrives at Cairo airport and then suddenly forgets his passport! He immediately decided to rely on the Mrsool application to bring the passport from home quickly, as he directed the representative to his home to bring his “passport” to him at the airport, and the delivery process succeeded in record time so that the traveler could complete his journey safely.

3- Lunch box

In light of the daily pressures placed on the Egyptian wives to prepare breakfast meals for her children daily, the Mrsool application received a request to deliver a meal inside the (lunch box) to one of the children at the school, which the delivery representative did on time.

4- Emergency suit

Exposure to sudden situations during the day prompts you to think about easy and cost-effective solutions. This is what an employee of one of the companies did when he was surprised by the request for an urgent official meeting that required wearing a suit, so he resorted to the Mrsool application, where the representative went to the client’s residence and received the suit from his wife and delivered it to the client at his workplace during record time.

5- Bride’s bouquet

As usual, wedding days crowded with events from the beginning of the day until its end, it was natural for one of the couples to forget some important things, and this time the request was for the bride’s bouquet, which it seems that the groom decided to rely on the application to bring it to the wedding venue in order to avoid wasting more time in bringing it by himself.

6- Shawarma sandwiches

The Mrsool application usually receives food orders in large quantities for a large number of individuals, whether for invitations or business meetings, but it appeared on the application that a customer relied on the application to order 470 shawarma sandwiches from one of the partner restaurants, which required special equipment from the restaurant at this time to deliver the order with quality and fast, and it is the role of a Mrsool to deliver it at the specified time and place, to complete the customer’s joy with the promotion he was celebrating with his co-workers.

7- Change colour of dress

In one of the orders that the application received, one of the clients decided to buy a specific dress from one of the famous malls in Cairo, and when she received a message from the representative on the application with a picture of the product, she asked him to photograph the rest of the colors, and she decided with the representative to buy a different color at the last moment, which is what the representative did after sending more than one picture of it through the chat feature between him and the customer.

It is noteworthy that the Mrsool Egypt application specializes in delivery on demand, including the orders of partner stores, in addition to point-to-point delivery of all products that any customer requests throughout the day.

And with the success of the Mrsool Egypt experience since its launch in the Egyptian market since 2019, it prompted many customers to change their purchasing behavior and rely on modern technology to deliver all products or services.
