Egyptian doctors abroad to participate in ‘Decent Life’ initiative

Egypt’s Minister of State for Immigration and Expatriates’ Affairs Nabila Makram and acting Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar have invited Egyptian doctors residing abroad to participate in the national initiative “Decent Life” for developing the Egyptian countryside. 

Makram asserted that the step came in response to the request of doctors abroad to participate in the national project. 

The government works on organizing a number of medical convoys in order to provide healthcare services to people in rural areas.

Abdel Ghaffar expressed his appreciation for the Egyptian doctors abroad who want to support their home country with their experience in various medical specialties. 

He added that the initiative will start on the New Year holidays as most Egyptian doctors abroad are keen to spend these days in Egypt among their families.
