Hamada Emam passes away

Zamalek’s prominent football player Hamada Emam died on Saturday at the age of 68, according to Zamalek Sports Club’s official Facebook page.

Hamada Emam was the father of the famous retired Zamalek’s football player, Hazem Emam. Hamada’s father was Yehia Emam, who was Zamalek’s goalkeeper.

Yehia Emam also joined the Egyptian National Team to present Egypt in the 1948 London’s Summer Olympics, in the 1951 Mediterranean Games opened officially by the King Farouk of Egypt in the Egyptian city of Alexandria, and in the 1953 Pan Arab Games also held in Alexandria.
