‘For the Love of Egypt’ electoral list seeks forming a political coalition including a number of independent political figures, which they will initiate after the run-off elections

Saad El-Gammal, a candidate in For the Love of Egypt, said the list is seeking to form political coalition from the individual candidates, creating a unified group to join the list, which includes 120 candidates. Egypt needs patriotic figures to offer more, he said.

He added the list seeks to work on creating strong groups to support the state through the coalition and serve citizens. The 120 candidates are not enough to be the majority group in the parliament, which is what the prominent members need.

For the Love of Egypt’s rapporteur general Seif El-Yazal said their goal is to create a political group including the list and a number of independent individuals. The new coalition includes more than 300 political candidates and it will work by supporting the state, not confronting it.

He said For the Love of Egypt does not have any internal disputes.
