NUCA launches 13 outlets for selling goods at discounted prices in 6th of October City

The New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), affiliated to the Ministry of Housing, has approved the allocation of 13 outlets to sell products at discounted prices in 6th of October City, according to Minister Mostafa Madbouly.

Madbouly said that NUCA is interested in launching these outlets to ease the burden of the rising costs of living expenses for low-income citizens.

The minister added that these outlets are being allocated to the Ministry of Defense through an assets transfer system, due to the city’s need for those outlets.

At the same time, the minister announced his approval to extend the period of paying debt on residential and administrative apartments and shops in the new cities that were built by NUCA until the end of December.

Madbouly noted that in case of full repayment of the money owed, the customer will be exempted from fines, in the case of repayment of 75% of the debt, the customer will be exempted from 70% of the fines. If the customer repays 50% of the debt, he will be exempt from 45% of the fines and in the case of repaying 25% of debt, the customer will be exempted from 20% of the fines.
