Man impersonating Mehleb arrested

The Ministry of Interior announced in a statement Saturday the arrest of a man, who lives in Kafr El-Sheikh, who was impersonating Prime Minister Ibrahim Mehleb on Facebook.

The General Directorate of Information and Documentation confirmed the existence of an account on Facebook with the name “Ebrahim Mehlib”. Pictures of the prime minister were published on the account and conversations were held under the prime minister’s name.

Investigations indicated the man’s name is Ahmed Zafer. According to the statement, the man is a member of the Muslim Brotherhood and is responsible for more than one page that incites against the police and army.
