New leaked photographs have surfaced of Huawei’s Ascend P6-U06 model, touted as “the world’s slimmest smartphone”.
The model, expected to be officially released within the coming weeks, is 6.18mm thick.
The photos show that on the right side of the device there are two microSIM and microSD card slots, with a 3.5mm audio jack appearing on the left side.
There was a previous leak on 29 April which revealed the phone’s specifications. It has, according to the information available, a 1280 x 720 pixel 4.7-inch screen and a 1.5 GHz quad-core Hisilicon K3V2 processor with 2 GB of RAM.
The phone will also have an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front camera and will use the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system.
It will be available in black, white and pink.
The company has not released any statements regarding the photos, while the French website that initially leaked them stated that it cannot comment on their soundness or legitimacy.
