Amr Abdel Reheem dies after being shot on Friday

Another protester was announced dead on Sunday, following clashes which took place near the presidential palace on Friday.

Amr Abdel Reheem died in Heliopolis Hospital two days after he was shot near the presidential palace, reported state-owned Al-Ahram. The Ministry of Health has yet to confirm his death.

This is the second fatality resulting from clashes which erupted in the vicinity of the presidential palace on Friday, after a number of protesters allegedly attempted to break into the palace.

The first victim, Mohamed (Kristy) Qorany, died on Friday. His family held a silent funeral for him Saturday afternoon.
