Ministry of Culture suspends all performances

The Opera House will resume all activities when stability is restored to the country.

The Minister of Culture Mohamed Saber Arab, has announced the suspension of all activities, events and concerts across all the theaters in Cairo, Alexandria, and Damanhour. The current situation in the country is given as the reason for this decision.

The president of the Cairo Opera House, Inas Abdel Fayek, shared the decision in a press release early on Thursday, 6 December and added that the Opera House will resume all activities when stability is restored to the country.
